It's Connie from Washington State. I’m 64 years young and love to travel, even if it’s a road trip within my own state. I’ve raised 3 great boys, and have been working at a JOB (just over broke) most of my life.

When my youngest son died in 2011, I began traveling more often. For whatever reasons, traveling (usually by myself) has helped me navigate through my journey with grief. My first solo adventure after Tim's tragic accident was in 2012, when I was part of Titanic Memorial Cruise (planned a year before he passed). Since then, I sometimes just pick a flight to a state that I haven’t visited and go from there. Also, I’ve always taken lots of photos, and (eventually) labeled all of them. For me, it's my legacy of memories.

Since my resources were stretched pretty thin at times, I worried that there wouldn’t be enough to continue traveling whenever and wherever I wanted during my golden years.

Thanks to the internet, I’m building a digital business which puts my financial worries at rest so I can continue exploring the world. And now (as an entrepreneur) I'm helping other parents who have lost a child have hope, be courageous through travel, get closer to reaching their goals, and continue to live a wonderful life!
